Carolina Meloni examines feminist genealogies through cartographic analysis, recovering overlooked feminist traditions situated at the margins of hegemonic frameworks. She argues that there is not one feminist genealogy but many different genealogies, and explores how ectopic feminisms represent "living territories of disobedience" against Western thought structures.

Meloni holds a philosophy PhD; her research areas include contemporary political philosophy, feminist thought, gender studies, and critical media theory. Recent publications: Frontier Feminisms (2021); coordinator of the sexualities chapter in the Critical Encyclopedia of Gender (2023).
